Ever feel like eating out with littles is a struggle? Between getting them to eat healthy foods and their manic food preferences, it often feels like we are throwing our money away right along with the food! Here’s something I’ve tried with our three to put more color on their plate. Pick a main dish you know they like and, for each child, pick a different side. (For my three I picked fries, broccoli and fruit). Then divide all of the sides between your kiddies so that have a little bit of each side. They may not eat everything but at least there is more variety on their plate and hopefully they’ll eat a more balanced sampling of foods.
